Citizen leaders – Implementation Council

The work of the Global Evidence Commission’s Implementation Council is supported by an active network of citizen leaders:

• Amanda Katili Niode – Talented policy advisor and non-governmental organization director advancing dialogue about environmental action, including climate action
• Cynthia Lisée – Research support librarian advancing information literacy and scholarly communications in academia 
• Euphrasia Ebai-Atuh Ndi – Consumer rights advocate bridging connections between policymakers and service providers to consumers in the production and delivery of decision-making processes and evidence products, including evidence synthesis
• Janice Tufte – Engaged citizen scientist focused on equitable health drivers and advancing research to guidance to dissemination
• Joanne O'Malley – Skilled communicator adept at capturing the meaning in messaging in a promise-driven and compelling way 
• Maureen Smith – Citizen leader championing the meaningful engagement of patients and citizens in conducting research and using it in their decision-making
• Modupe Adefeso-Olateju – Non-governmental organization leader pioneering the use citizen-led assessments and public-private partnerships to improve educational outcomes for children
• Nina Doad – Developing young leader interested in health promotion and citizen engagement
• Richard Morley – Citizen leader dedicated to advancing patient, carer and public engagement in healthcare research
• Toby Stewart – Advocate for improving less-privileged Canadians’ health and quality-of-life by promoting government investments to lessen adverse social health
