Yung Lee

Queen Elizabeth Scholars in Strengthening Health Systems (2017)
At the time of the QE Scholarship, Yung was an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program. Throughout his undergraduate career and his research experiences, he developed an interest in public health, evidence-informed practice, and governance.

As an outbound Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Yung travelled to London, England to intern with NHS England. Through his time with NHS England, Yung worked with the National Director of Primary Care, clinical stakeholders, and non-clinical stakeholders to assist with the implementation of newly launched NHS General Practice Five Year Forward View. Yung also assisted with the NHS General Practice Development Programme. Through his time with NHS England, Yung hoped to deepen his knowledge in healthcare commissioning and delivery, healthcare leadership, and primary care policy and decision making.
